What I don't understand, is that people value a single painting, that is, somebody has taken something and smeared it over a surface in some form of pattern, more than anything else.

Let's all observe the Mona Lisa, while doctors and shit cure diseases, engineers make planes and cars, and yet people still value this smear of paint over all that. I don't understand.

Let's praise those who can run fast, jump far or throw something, dedicate an entire 2 week holiday to see them. Doctors don't get their own holiday, 2 weeks on TV, medals or anything.

To be honest, I admire this [link] homeless man, who handed in a wallet with $900 to the owner without taking any, more than a person who can run fast.
